Mission #1 -
20,000 Leagues Under the Sea

After successfully capturing and bringing the unscrupulous reporter Desesperançado McQuest to justice, as well as defeating his considerable naval and ground forces in a series of epic battles, Captain Tailor, along with most of his crew were transferred to Langley Station. Commander Whittier has been tasked with the destruction of the Courageous' battered hull. Along with a small team he has returned to the Epsilon Hydrae System. Upon their arrival they find it still under a heavy blockade, although now both medical and science ships have joined the blockade... Unfortunately the planet is still in turmoil. Riots still fill the streets of most of the major cities, and there is still considerable fallout from the self destruction of one of McQuest's bases. The battered remains of the Courageous now lie at the bottom of one of the deepest parts of Epsilon Hydrae's oceans. With the resources of the Akira Class vessel USS Templar at his disposal Commander Whittier must destroy the remains of the Courageous in order to ensure that more Etaoin Shrdlu secrets are not leaked to the general public. However, there is more going on than meets the eye going on in the Epsilon Hydrae System. |

After a fierce battle with a super-powered Romulan D'deridex warbird, the crews of Langley Station and the USS Courageous must now put thier lives back together. Wreckage lay strewn across the Hydra system. Saved from a watery grave, Starfleet must now determine the fate of the Courageous as the USS Retribution searches the bloody battlefield for survivors. In addition, the new armory construction continues as Livata Kress lurks about in the shadows.
